British Columbia Minister of Advanced Education Amrik Virk has revoked his consent for Trinity Western University, a Christian college, to open a law school. Virk cited the fact that law societies in British Columbia and other Canadian provinces have refused to accredit the school’s graduates because of a section of the university’s covenant requiring students, faculty, and administrators not to engage in “sexual intimacy that violates the sacredness of marriage between a man and a woman.”
More like politically (and historically) illiterate. Let’s just hope that these pathetic ignoramuses aren’t representative of their generation.
SAN FRANCISCO – The University of California’s San Francisco campus has launched the nation’s first-ever online abortion class, creating both interest and outrage across the nation.
“Abortion: Quality Care and Public Health Implications” is a six-week free class being offered by the university through Coursera, and is to be taught by “over twenty faculty from various institutions and multiple disciplines [who] will place abortion within the context of public health and fill in the gaps left by its exclusion from mainstream curricula in health professions.”

The folks in the drama department at Cape Fear Community College are just fine with staging productions about rape and incest. But when it comes to staging a show with Christian themes – well, that’s a problem.
So says Alliance Defending Freedom, a religious advocacy group that claims the school’s drama instructor ordered a student to “dumb down” the religious nature of an upcoming production because it might offend and anger people.
ADF attorney Travis Barham wrote a letter to the college alleging that drama instructor Jack Landry told Justin Graves he “could not support the overtly Christian show” because the Wilmington, N.C., college is a publicly-funded institution.

A Washington college said their non-discrimination policy prevents them from stopping a transgender man from exposing himself to young girls inside a women’s locker room, according to a group of concerned parents.
“Little girls should not be exposed to naked men, period,” said David Hacker, senior legal counsel with the Alliance Defending Freedom. A group of concerned parents contacted the legal firm for help.
Hacker said a 45-year-old male student, who dresses as a woman and goes by the name Colleen Francis, undressed and exposed his genitals on several occasions inside the woman’s locker room at Evergreen State College.
Students from nearby Olympia High School as well as children at a local swimming club share locker rooms with the college.
